During this time of unprecedented uncertainty, we all need to be reminded that a big component of our health and wellness is derived from camaraderie, socialization and a sense of connection with our community. The new RMCSR Community Movement app fulfills these needs, adds fundraising opportunities for community groups and provides a series of educational and instructional movement videos to prepare muscles for training, sports or work.
Community groups or teams interested in fundraising are invited to become a group on the app and then recruit businesses to advertise on their group's page. Advertising provides a group with a means to fundraise and a business with a direct connection to the group's members ultimately extending their marketing reach and social media presence.
Learn how your group, team or business can be enrolled on the RMCSR Community Movement app and start growing your community's economy.
The RMCSR Community Movement app socially connects businesses with community members and groups to promote health, wellness, and the local economy.
Communities – The app currently serves communities in and around Parker and Aspen, Colorado. These communities are local to the RMCSR's primary operation offices that organize community outreach projects and services. The number of communities on the app will increase as the RMCSR develops funding strategies that support and extend their mission.
Groups – Local social groups, sport teams and special community members are invited to sign-up as a 'Group' on the RMCSR Community Movement app. Each Group is provided a home page on the app that is populated with information about the Group and their goals or mission; a calendar listing details of the Group’s upcoming events; and social posts including photos, podcasts, and links to other media content. The Group’s home page is easily accessed through a drop-down menu and allows the Group to recruit local business sponsors, such as retail stores and restaurants, to advertise on the Group’s page. The majority of the advertising revenue support’s the Group’s fundraising goals and a portion goes towards a local RMCSR project.
Businesses – Businesses are invited to become a 'Partner' and advertise on the RMCSR Community Movement app. Advertising on a particular Group’s home page grows the Partner's fanbase and provides a direct connection between a Partner and the members of the Group. This economic connection is amplified through push notifications announcing a Partner’s share special. A share special is a promotional advertisement, such as a coupon or weekly deal, that begins as a post on the Partner’s social media page such as Facebook. The members of the Group receive an in-app notification containing a link to this post, and with a single tap the post is shared to the member's social media page ultimately creating a viral digital marketing campaign that greatly extends the Partner's marketing reach and social media presence.
Developing fundraising opportunities or stretching an advertising budget is more important than ever. Click the button below for instructions on how your team, group or business can be involved on the RMCSR Community Movement app.
